President-elect Tinubu conferred with GCFR highest honour in Nigeria

The President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been conferred the highest honour in Nigeria, Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic, GCFR.

Also, Vice President-elect Kashim Settima was decorated as Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger, GCON.

Our correspondent reports this on Thursday during the investiture ceremony held in Aso Villa Abuja.

On Monday, May 29th, Tinubu will be sworn in as the next President of Nigeria, succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari.
